Ciao e bentornat*! In preparazione a qualche giorno di vacanza, ho cucito non uno, ben tre nuovi capi, tutti dal modello Signe! Hello and welcome back! Preparing for a few days at the beach, I have sewn not one, but three garments from the Signe pattern!
Da qualche mese sto collaborando con Maria Denmark, creatrice di cartamodelli indipendenti e ho avuto l’opportunità di cucire il modello del mese, Signe, che trovate scontato sul suo sito, qui.
It’s a few time now that I’m collaborating with Maria Denmark, an indie pattern maker and I have had the opportunity to sew the pattern of the month, Signe, that you find discounted on her website, here.
Ciò che mi piace di questo modello, Signe, è il fatto che potete estrapolare ben 3 versioni! Ora vi faccio vedere le mie! Iniziamo con la versione lunga fino ai piedi!
What I like the most about this pattern is that you have 3 versions inside of it! Let me show mine: here’s the feet long version!
Il tessuto che ho scelto è una maglina di jersey che avevo nel mio cassetto dei tessuti e questa versione lunga è perfetta per una serata al mare, fra una passeggiata e un gelato!
The fabric I chose is a drapey jersey that I had in my stash for abit and this long version is perfect for a beach night out, between an ice cream and a stroll!
Un pò di tecnica! Let’s get technical!
Il modello è estramente carino e versatile. Acquistabile via PDF, vi arriva a casa in un attimo ed è pronto per essere preparato e cucito: fra taglio e cucito, ci si mette davvero poco ed è per questo che mi è piaciuto molto! A volte, c’è bisogno di un modello semplice e veloce con il quale non pensare, ma cucire e basta!
The pattern is really pretty and versatile. You can buy it in PDF version so that you can start assemble and sew it in no time! Cutting and sewing it was really quick: sometimes you need something that quick and cute to sew, I am right?!
Per la versione di lunghezza al ginocchi e top, ho scelto uno scampolo che avevo nella mia cassetta dei tessuti e ho cercato di utilizzarlo il più possibile, sacrificando un pò il piazzamento.
For the knee and top version, I used a jersey I had in my stash from last year and tried to use it at its maximum, giving up a little bit the fabric/pattern placement.
Come si può vedere, il dietro del vestito copre egregiamente il reggiseno e non da problemi di fasciare troppo la schiena, lasciando antiestetici segni di compressione.
As you can see, the back covers perfectly the bra you wear under and it leaves no marks.
Ed ora il top: perfetto anche da portare sui leggings!
And now the top version: perfect on leggings too!

Il davanti è composto da una scollatura all’americana che si allaccia dietro al collo ed è doppiata di modo da non lasciare del tessuto a vista!
The front is formed by an halter closure on the back neck and is doubled so that you have a nice smooth finish!
Nel dietro ho modificato l’elastico e ne ho inserito uno alto 3 cm anzichè 0.5 cm, poichè ha avuto per me una resa migliore!
The one thing I changed on the back is the elastic width: I went with a 3 cm wide elastic instead of 0.5 cm wide elastic, cause it gave me a nicer finish!
